LEED and BREEAM
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design is a voluntary system developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), recognised internationally, for the classification and certification of green buildings.
Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) is a European reference standard for the best practices in the design, construction and management of sustainable buildings.
Greenguard and Greenguard Gold
GreenGuard guarantee that the materials intended for indoor use have practically zero volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. GreenGuard Gold, recognised and accepted by green building programmes worldwide, certifies the total absence of risks even in places where particularly sensitive people such as children or the elderly spend time.
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
The EPD is a voluntary international certification scheme, based on the analysis of the product life cycle in accordance with standard EN 1580414. We have conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA15) using the “from cradle to grave” format, publishing the results in its specific Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for products belonging exclusively to the company, which provided precise data on the environmental performance of its materials.
In 2022, the EPD was updated, allowing us to include within the scope of the certification also the German site, and the study was launched to determine the Product Carbon FootPrint (in accordance with standard ISO 14067) linked to the whole life cycle of materials, including both the Italian and German sites.
NSF/ANSI 51 – 2014 Food Equipment Materials
Certification obtained in 2021. The NSF was developed for commercial spaces such as bars, restaurants, hotel kitchens and canteens, where ceramic slabs are now used, as well as countertops for the consumption of food and beverages, also in “Food Zones”, such as worktops and bar counters. This certification offers a further guarantee of quality and safety for consumers.
